SuccessSmartGuides.com Manifesto
First... what we offer is like 6 clubs in 1.
We focus on 5 key yet underserved areas of business + we offer business book summaries.
We found the secret to Success. Napoleon Hill and many others mentioned it. We just realizing it. It is… Community.
It comes in many forms… Accountability Partner, Coach, Mentor, MasterMind, Network/Networking, Group, Club, Organization, Movement, etc., It's even in the Bible.
The following quote/proverb sums it up perfectly...
“If you want to go fast, go alone,
if you want to go far, go together”.
African Proverb - Martha Goedert
If you want to go far, go together. Meaning: When you work alone or on your own, you have the luxury of not having to wait for anyone or needing anyone's approval to get things done, thus you are able to work fast. But the question is how far can you go in life working alone? Going far requires the support of others.
Here's another well known phrase that sums up a major part of what we aim to do here...
"The whole is greater than the sum of its parts".
...was first coined by the philosopher Aristotle.
What is a Manifesto?
A manifesto is a written declaration of principles, beliefs, and intentions. It serves as a clear statement of purpose and outlines the values, goals, and vision of a particular group, organization, or movement. Manifestos are often used to inspire, motivate, and guide individuals or communities towards a common objective or cause. They can be found in various fields, including politics, art, business, and social activism. Manifestos are powerful tools for articulating ideas, driving change, and rallying support around a shared mission.

What is the DIFFERENCE between our Community and a FaceBook Community?
We are at the beginning stages of what we intend to eventually be an alternative to FaceBook Groups. We need your help and input to ensure it is an environment you desire to spend quality time in so that your business thrives.
Here is a comprehensive list of the negative aspects of Facebook groups and suggestions on how we could address them in the meantime:
Lack of Control and Ownership
Facebook has full control and ownership over groups, not group admins or members 13. This makes groups vulnerable to sudden policy or feature changes.
Suggestion: Use Facebook groups as one part of a larger community strategy rather than the only platform. Have an owned platform like a website or forum as the main hub.
Facebook uses data from groups which can expose private info or enable unwanted ads 1.
Suggestion: Limit sharing of private data within Facebook groups when possible. Don't use FB groups for highly sensitive topics.
Privacy and Security Issues
Facebook has had numerous data and privacy breaches exposing group data 1. This hurts trust.
Suggestion: Remind members to be cautious of what they share. Have strong privacy settings enabled.
Members don't know how their data is used which limits sharing 1.
Suggestion: Inform members on data usage and ability to opt-out of ads.
Algorithm Limiting Exposure
FB algorithm inconsistently shows group content to members affecting reach 1.
Suggestion: Encourage members to turn on notifications or visit the group directly.
Many competing distractions on Facebook itself that reduce engagement 1.
Suggestion: Foster very active discussions and tight-knit community feel as a draw.
Limited Features and Customization
Can't customize much beyond a basic discussion forum 13.
Suggestion: Use third-party tools to add more features like calendars, databases etc.
Offers little in the way of metrics, analytics or insights 2.
Suggestion: Survey members manually. Use third-party analytics where possible.
Discoverability Issues
Groups don't show up in search engines or get much exposure beyond existing fans 2.
Suggestion: Cross-promote groups actively on other channels to drive membership.

Here is a list of negative aspects of Facebook groups and how we would like to address, improve, or eradicate them with your help:
Lack of Control and Ownership:
Fix: We as a group have full control and ownership over the platform, including policies, features, and functionalities. We could customize many things to meet our specific needs without the limitations with Facebook.
Privacy and Security Issues:
Improve: We could prioritize privacy and security by implementing robust data protection measures. We could provide clear guidelines to members on how their data is collected, stored, and used. Admins can ensure the proper encryption, storage, and deletion of member information as per privacy regulations.
Algorithm Limiting Exposure:
Eradicate: By moving away from Facebook's algorithm-based platform, we could provide equal visibility to all group content. We could display posts chronologically or allow users to customize their feed based on their preferences. This ensures that all important information and discussions are seen by members.
Limited Features and Customization:
Improve: Our group website could offer more advanced features and customization options beyond a basic discussion forum. We could include features like event calendars, polls, file sharing, and subgroups. Admins could customize the design and layout to create a unique and engaging user experience.
Lack of Metrics, Analytics, and Insights:
Fix: We could provide comprehensive metrics, analytics, and insights to group admins. We could track engagement, member growth, post reach, and user demographics. This data can help admins make informed decisions about content, engagement strategies, and community growth.
Discoverability Issues:
Improve: Our group feature could prioritize discoverability by optimizing the website for search engines. We could implement SEO techniques, use relevant keywords, and have a well-structured website hierarchy for better search engine visibility. The website could also include features for members to share group content on social media platforms, improving exposure outside of the group itself.
Dependence on Facebook:
Eradicate: By creating a new group based community we could reduce our reliance on Facebook and have more control over our own platform. This allows the community to establish its own rules, policies, and guidelines that align with our specific objectives and values.
User Experience:
Improve: We could prioritize user experience by providing a clean and intuitive interface. It could focus on ease of navigation, fast-loading pages, and mobile responsiveness. Members could have a seamless and enjoyable browsing experience, increasing engagement and participation.
Monetization and Ads:
Fix: We could provide alternative monetization options that align with the community's goals. This could include membership fees, sponsored content, or partnerships with relevant brands. Admins could have more control over ads and could ensure they are relevant and non-intrusive.
Integration with Other Tools:
Improve: We could integrate with various tools and platforms to enhance functionality. This could include integrations with communication tools, project management software, or customer relationship management systems, providing a seamless workflow for community members.
By addressing these negative aspects through our new group features, we as a community can have more control, privacy, customization, and discoverability. Furthermore, our website can provide better metrics, user experience, and integration options, leading to the growth and success of the community members and their businesses.
